2026 Dean’s Fellowship Award
Summer at Hopkins is ready to assist outstanding applicants in need as they strive to accomplish their academic objectives. This year’s Dean’s Fellowship Award provides need-based financial support for students enrolling in an online Pre-College Program at Johns Hopkins. Awards of up to $950 USD are available to help reduce the cost of tuition for eligible students. The average award amount is expected to be $500.
If you are applying to Summer at Hopkins and are considering taking an online Pre-College Program, we encourage you to complete the Dean’s Fellowship Award application during admission.
This year’s Dean’s Fellowship Award is prioritizing high school students enrolling in a Pre-College Program with an online modality. Students applying to on-campus Pre-College Programs may also request to be considered for the award if they are open to enrolling online. Final eligibility will be confirmed once enrollment is complete as awards are reserved for those who ultimately register in online programs.
There is a two-step process to apply for the 2026 Dean’s Fellowship Award.
- Complete and submit your online Summer at Hopkins application, including all required materials and the application fee, before March 10, 2026. Please be sure to indicate that you are requesting financial support on the application’s “Additional Information” page.
- Your application will be reviewed and, if you are eligible, you will receive an email with a link to the Dean’s Fellowship Award application which opens on February 2, 2026. Complete and return the award’s application by the March 22, 2026 deadline to be considered for the award.
Your Dean’s Fellowship Award application will be reviewed on a rolling basis; so the sooner you submit both applications the sooner you will know if you were selected to receive any funds. Your notification will be delivered via email no later than April 1, 2026.
If you are selected, the award amount will be applied directly to your student account before the payment deadline.
