For International Students Seeking On-Campus Learning Only
Once you have been accepted into Summer at Hopkins, you will need to obtain the JHU-approved health insurance plan: Gateway Patriot Exchange Program offered by IMGlobal. This is a limited, emergency plan, and does not cover pre-existing conditions.

When completing your Gateway Patriot Exchange Program application, please use the following criteria:

• Start Date
  Use your move-in day, which immediately precedes the day your Summer at Hopkins’ program or course begins.
• End Date
  This will be your move-out day, which is the Saturday directly following the final Friday of your course.
• Deductible and Coverage
  You can choose the deductible amount you and your family prefer, but coverage must be based on the $500,000 USD Maximum Limit.

Additional Information for all In-Residence Students enrolled in a Summer Term Undergraduate Course.

Please Note: Coverage is purchased in a one month/30-day package.

Provide Proof of Coverage

After purchasing insurance, you will be asked to upload proof of your coverage to Johns Hopkins University.
