As a pre-college student enrolled in the Next Generation Scholars Academy, you are automatically assigned on-campus housing in a Johns Hopkins University residence hall.
Tuition and Program Costs
The Academy experience includes two undergraduate courses (up to 7 credits), one exclusive Academy course (1 credit), and all housing, dining, and programming fees. There is also an $85 USD application fee to submit your application. Upon acceptance into the Academy you will need to provide an Initial Payment of $1,000 USD prior to enrollment. Undergraduate Courses Tuition
During your time as a Next-Gen Scholar, you will select two on-campus Summer Term courses, with both awarding 3-credits or a combination of a 3-credit with a 4-credit course. Each 3-credit course’s tuition is $3,825 USD, and any 4-credit courses have a tuition of $5,100 USD.
Academy Course Tuition
A special 1-credit course has been incorporated into your schedule as a Next-Gen Scholar to provide guidance with your short- and long-term goals, including important insights into college decisions and navigating upcoming admissions processes. The tuition for this exclusive course is $600 USD.
Housing, Dining, and Programming Fees
You will have an exciting 5-weeks living and learning at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Campus. Beyond the classroom you have access to comprehensive recreation facilities, extensive library collections, and a multitude of dining options just steps away from your residence hall. Your residence hall accommodations and dining plan over the 5-week session are included in these fees. In addition, there are numerous social activities planned for your enjoyment during Session B’s weeknights and weekends.
