If you’ve attended Summer at Hopkins before, you’re pre-certified and won’t need to pay an application fee. You’ll also benefit from an expedited application review process. And, of course, you’ll already be familiar with many of the features and attributes that make Summer at Hopkins an experience to remember.
For 2025, Summer at Hopkins is launching the Next Generation Scholars Academy in addition to offering several newly developed courses and programs. Once again this year you are welcome to live and learn on-campus in Baltimore, Maryland while enjoying enhanced opportunities to engage with the Johns Hopkins community.

Choose from among more than 80 Pre-College Programs or Summer Term courses covering everything from neuroscience, to writing dramatic plays, to mathematical cryptography, and more.
Application Requirements
Your application process and admission requirements will vary depending on whether you’re a pre-college student or a visiting undergraduate. Johns Hopkins undergraduate students also have a unique process to register for classes.
