With three online Pre-College Program sessions offered in 2026, you’ll have the flexibility to find a time frame that works best for you. You are welcome to enroll in one or two online Pre-College Summer Programs per session.

Important Admissions Timeline Details

In order to maximize your opportunities as an online pre-college student at Johns Hopkins this summer, your completed application will typically be reviewed within 10 business days of its submission. The 2026 Application is expected to open in late November 2025.

The Rolling Admissions Process
Once you have submitted your application, it will be individually examined to confirm you meet the Admissions Criteria, and that you have provided the required supporting documents and the application fee. An admissions decision will be sent to you in approximately 10 business days. If you receive an offer of admission, you will need to accept the offer and submit your Initial Payment within 21 days of when JHU released your offer. Completing these steps is necessary to begin the registration process. Until this process is completed, your preferred Pre-College Program or Programs are subject to availability.

Tuition and Program Costs

As an online student, you may enroll in one or two Pre-College Programs per session. Each Pre-College Program you are enrolled in has a tuition rate of $1,950 USD. For example, if you pursue a Pre-College Program in both Session One and Session Two, your total tuition will be $3,900 USD. There is also an $85 USD application fee. * Please Note: that no matter how many Pre-College Programs you are pursuing this summer, you will only need to provide a single Initial Payment of $1,950 USD in order to begin the course registration process. Your Initial Payment will apply toward the total cost. Any remaining balance will be due 10 days before the start date of your first session.

Published tuition rates and fees are pending final approval by the Board of Trustees.

Textbooks

Your program may require a textbook. Once your program starts, please be sure to consult your syllabus.

Additional Supplies Required

Students enrolled in the online offerings of “Medical School Intensive” or “Introduction to Surgery” will need to purchase additional lab supplies. Anticipated costs for these supplies range between $20-$50 USD, plus shipping. You should be able to find these supplies individually or in a kit at a local pharmacy or through a variety of online vendors.
