Session A Details
If you are a currently enrolled JHU undergraduate student and you are seeking to study in-person during Session A, please arrange your housing with JHU’s Housing Operations office. If you are a visiting undergraduate or a qualified pre-college student, you may only pursue Session A courses as a commuter or as an online student.
Session B Details
Pre-college students interested in living on-campus during Session B should visit the Next Generation Scholars Academy page to review important details.
On-campus housing is available during the Session B time frame for visiting undergraduates who are enrolled in two in-person courses. Housing in the residence halls will be arranged with the Summer at Hopkins team.
If you are a JHU student, please arrange your housing with JHU’s Housing Operations office.

Tuition and Program Costs
Tuition rates are based on the number of credit hours you register to complete. The 2025 rate is $1,275 USD per credit hour. While living on campus, you have the freedom to enroll in multiple courses per session. There is an $85 USD application fee for your Summer Term application. Please note that as long as you are only taking Summer Term courses, you will only need to provide a single course’s Initial Payment of $1,000 USD prior to enrollment. However if you are combining Summer Term courses with any Pre-College Programs, your Initial Payment will be $1,950 USD prior to enrollment. Housing, Dining, and Programming Fees
As a visiting undergraduate student enrolled in two Session-B Summer Term courses, your residence hall accommodations and dining plan over the 5-week session are included in the Housing and Dining Fee. Pre-college students attending Session B on-campus should refer to the Next Generation Scholars Academy to review applicable fees.
